While continuing her exploration of deconstructive reassembly, Lee has expanded her practice to include fully transformable structures that continuously shift between two and three dimensions. Her recent pieces fold, collapse, and pop back open in response to their context. By embracing ‘Emptiness as Potential’—where the void created by cutting or hollowing becomes the seed of the next transformation—Lee offers a fresh, open-ended take on what painting can be today.
